Scotland played an exceptional match for 65 minutes—stunning!

They made the French dance. I’ve never seen Dupont with such a vacant look in his eyes…

In any case, it shows that nothing is ever guaranteed, that the margins between the best teams are very small, and that Scotland showed a way to really trouble France. You have to deprive them of the ball. Avoid kicking and giving them ammunition for their counter-attacking game, which is the best in the world. The French love turnover ball; they are extremely dangerous in unstructured play. Scotland prevented that. They played, played, and played. I was impressed by the performance of their number 9, White.

65 brilliant minutes from Scotland.

Despite the scoreline, France were thoroughly pumped.

TT 23 days ago

Most have seen French implosion.

But this is a meltdown.

So many brain fades, authorities will, if comically need to investigate the betting markets.

TT 23 days ago

The Dupont forward pass AFTER … wait for it … taking it in goal 🤣🤣🤣 You couldn't make that up 🤣🤣🤣forward pass in goal … after taking it in 🤣🤣🤣

I suppose it’s Galthie’s turn to have his head on the block…

Good thing the Scots didn’t bomb Gregor!

b
benny_pea 21 days ago

It’s a sad reality that Galthié will face no pressure compared to Borthwick

H
Hammer Head 23 days ago

Just wow from Scotland. Graham MOTM.

French flat footed and soft shouldered all day. Scot’s raging on attack.

H
Hammer Head 23 days ago

That’s the ball game.

Ramos - anonymous.

Dupont - who?

Bounce of the ball going Scotlands way.

French pack very tame.

French body language not good.

H
Hammer Head 23 days ago

One score too short? The French bench is coming.

H
Hammer Head 23 days ago

The Scots must go wide sooner. The French are defending narrow.

H
Hammer Head 23 days ago

A score before halftime and a score shortly after. The French will turn to their bench early.

H
Hammer Head 23 days ago

Yellow card incoming.

H
Hammer Head 23 days ago

The French (pack) tend to slump in the middle third of the test, and then finish strong with their bench. The Scot’s must strike now. Build an advantage on the scoreboard they can hold onto in the final third.

C
CA 23 days ago

Mediocre Scotland have a slim chance of upsetting the brilliant but unpredictable France. All depends on whether Finn Russel is allowed to play at his best.

H
Hammer Head 23 days ago

Mediocre is a bit harsh. The Scots are good at home.
