Rugby Australia has announced the launch of Super Rugby Next Gen, an all-new competition featuring the best under-20s talent.
Waratahs face off against Chiefs in Super Rugby Pacific Round 9 on Fri 11th April 2025 at Allianz Stadium. Kick-off in the UK is scheduled for 10:35 and is broadcast on Sky Sports. In South Africa it’s at 11:35 SAST on SuperSport, 21:35 NZST on Sky Sport, Sky Sport Now, Sky Go in New Zealand, 19:35 AEST on Stan Sport in Australia and 02:35 EST on Flo Rugby in the US.
Waratahs won the last encounter but Chiefs are in the best form of their last 5 games.
Heading into the fixture the two sides are separated by 7 places in the league table with Chiefs in 1st and Waratahs in 8th as such Chiefs are favourites on paper.
The official squads for Waratahs vs Chiefs will become available around 24- 48 hours before kick-off. Teams can still make changes up to an hour before the match however.
