Episode 1 - Premieres 7:00pm Sunday 22 August
As the memories of the 2019 season linger for the Brisbane Boys College rugby program, a new re-structured GPS competition awaits the 2020 First XV as they prepare for the most challenging year in recent history. Pre-season gets underway despite a stuttering pandemic affected launch, and the players and coaches realise that the promise of yesteryear counts for nothing in the Queensland GPS Rugby premiership.
Episode 2 - Premieres 7:00pm Sunday 29 August
An undefeated start to the season for the BBC First XV puts the boys from Toowong in prime position for a premiership. Training intensity heightens as the team prepares for a visit by unbeaten Nudgee College who look to avenge their loss to the Green White Black the previous year.
Episode 3 - Premieres 7:00pm Sunday 5 September
All eyes are on Miskin Oval as the premiership hopes of the two heavyweight rugby powerhouses go toe to toe. A Try Of The Season effort from Nudgee puts BBC on the backfoot as they trail the visitors by two tries to nil with only minutes remaining in the first half. It is critical moment in the BBC season, will they crumble or retaliate as the clock winds down on their chances. And a look back at the historic 1954 team and how their influence has bridged generations.
Episode 4 - Premieres 7:00pm Sunday 12 September
The Round 8 clash against Nudgee College enters its final phase, as the home team starts to capitalise on their offensive momentum. A 12-0 deficit is quickly reversed and the premiership title at stake looks more achievable by the minute. A purple patch of try scoring brilliance by BBC sets up a rampaging finish but will it be enough to break the 108 year drought?
Episode 5 - Premieres 7:00pm Sunday 19 September
The week after the Nudgee triumph, the team has to refocus its efforts on the impending game against Brisbane State High. With one hand on the premiership trophy, the coaching group remind the players of the importance of finishing the season strongly. Meanwhile, a key playmaker has a race against time to pass a fitness test for the final game of the year.
Episode 6 - Premieres 7:00pm Sunday 26 September
Members of the First XV squad give an exclusive insight to a reflex game that may be giving them a physical edge over the other GPS schools, while the countdown continues for the final round clash against Brisbane State High. Attention turns to Fursden Road for the critical fixture that will present Brisbane Boys College with the opportunity to be the first team in their history to win a stand alone title. But the imposing home side have other ideas.
Episode 7 - Premieres 7:00pm Sunday 3 October
As expected, Brisbane State High come out of the gates at a rapid pace and force BBC on the defensive in the opening minutes. Two scores knock the Green White and Black off their stride, but soon enough the raw talent and superior attacking potencies come into play. Following half time, the rampant BBC backline dictate play and the first standalone Premiership title is in reach.
Episode 8 - Premieres 7:00pm Sunday 10 October
The final whistle blows on the 2020 season. And BBC have finally broken the back of a 100 year old drought. With the premiership trophy in hand, the team returns to Toowong to celebrate with family and friends, while the Old Boys community collectively rejoice as the magnitude of the win sinks in. With the season and academic year drawing to a close, the school farewells the seniors of 2020.
