The Colomiers Rugby Club was established in 1915 and has enjoyed various European successes over the years. Most notably, the Colomiers rugby team won the European Rugby Challenge Cup in 1998 after claiming an impressive 43-5 victory over Agen.
In 1999, they made it to the final of the European Rugby Champions Cup but unfortunately didn’t claim the title after losing to Ulster. The following year they were finalists in the Top 14 but once again failed to secure a victory, finishing runners-up to Stade Français.
Shortly after, Colomiers were relegated and fell down the divisions. But then, in 2005, the team became Fédérale 1 champions and were promoted to the Pro D2.
In recent years, the team has finished towards the top end of the Pro D2 table and has regularly qualified for the playoff phase of the competition. Sadly, they’ve been unable to win promotion to the Top 14.
Colomiers have enjoyed several notable victories over the years and we can’t wait to see what’s next for the club.
