New Zealand’s national 1st XV champions, Hastings Boys High School are fast becoming the nation’s best rugby nursery – and it looks like they have found the next Tuivasa-Sheck.
Hastings Boys are set to compete for a national sevens title in early December at the Condor Sevens in Auckland. A vast number of young players have been getting experience in the lead-up – including this young stepper who was too hard to handle for players two to three years his senior at the recent Napier Sevens.
Hastings Boys 1st XV have lost one game in two years, made back-to-back national title games – winning the title this year, and this year had six players selected in the New Zealand schoolboys side – a testament to the development of players in the Hastings rugby programme.
