Have a listen to all the news and views from the NRL, including a special mention of the famous mouse trap move.
The mouse trap has been a wonderful Rugby League move that in my opinion was perfected in the 90’s by the St George team. It was a deceptive move where a player went into dummy half and feigned picking up the ball and running with it prior to a player at his immediate rear darting in and running with the ball in the opposite direction. It had a quite high success rate so it is unusual that it is only ever reignited occasionally, last weekend being one of those times.
