Maurice Longbottom astonished the crowd with some outstanding footwork and speed

Australia Men’s 7s have found a gem in former South Sydney Rabbitohs junior Maurice Longbottom.

Longbottom was apparently viewed as too small for the NRL, but it seems he may have found his niche in Sevens.

The Indigenous youngster had a tournament to remember, as the Aussie men took out in the inaugural Oktoberfest 7s. Check out his fleet footwork against France in the quarter finals.

Australia are now looking to lock the player down with a contract that would see him through to the 2020 Olympics.

You can’t expect the players to make up for what the coach might lack though, they have bigger priorities right now.

World Cup winner recalled into Springboks squad following injuries

Yup Toko his performance in the 23 final is definitely something for the legends’ history books. In a pub in Cape Town when he was asked about it he said: ”Couldn’t find my di*k in a shower.” But he sure as hell made up for it around the park and amazingly kept going all the way.

He’s was also voted the player Stormers fans would like to have a beer with after the game. He has a huge sense of humour and self defacing wit. Last year when a fan asked him what he would like for Christmas he said a Zimmer frame 🤣
