Georgia Evans Bio

Born in Belgium on 29 January 1997, Georgia Evans first took an interest in rugby at the age of 16 while studying at Yeovil College.

After moving to Wales in 2014, she began to take her rugby more seriously. While in the country, she first represented Ynysybwl Ladies. From here, she moved to Pontyclun Falcons.

While playing for Pontyclun Falcons, Evans caught the attention of several clubs in England. In 2020, she signed for Saracens. She’s stayed with the club ever since, amassing more than 75 appearances for the squad.

During her time in Wales, Georgia Evans also caught the attention of national scouts. She made her debut for Wales in the 2019 Autumn Internationals, and then made her Six Nations debut in 2020.

Following this, she represented her country at the delayed 2021 Rugby World Cup. Now an established member of the Welsh squad, Evans was also selected to represent Wales at the 2025 Rugby World Cup in England.

Although Wales bowed out in the 2025 World Cup pool stage, Evans featured in all games, bringing power in the second row and making 25 tackles across the tournament.

Still young and with some of her best years ahead of her, we can’t wait to see what else Georgia Evans can achieve in the game.
