Andrei Ostrikov is a mobile lock forward, also capable of playing in either flanker position. His powerful rucking game and abilities at the line-out were rewarded by Russia coach Kingsley Jones who has signed the player for his new club side Sale Sharks. He made his debut for Russia in 2008 against Portugal.
