Ndimande, who weighs 98kg and is 1.85m tall, has impressed for Griquas in the Currie Cup with his aggressive and dynamic ball carrying and his work at the breakdown.

“Thabo is a very exciting overseas signing,” said Warriors head coach Matt Everard.

“He is extremely aggressive over the ball and powerful in his collisions.

“Thago has been superb in the Currie Cup for the Griquas, displaying extremely physical performances consistently.

“I’d like to thank Thabo for committing to Warriors and making Sixways his new home.”

Centre turned flanker Ndimande, 25, said: “Signing with Worcester Warriors was an absolute no-brainer. Really, it’s a dream come true.

“It’s a club with great history, and I am really grateful for the opportunity.

“Having spoken with coach Matt,. I can’t wait to experience the support from the fans at Sixways and add more trophies to the cabinet.”
