HSBC SVNS returns for the 2025/26 season this weekend, as the best men’s and women’s sides descend on the United Arab Emirates for the Emirates Dubai 7s, available live on RPTV in select territories, including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan and France!

Part of the new three tier system, the Men’s and Women’s competition will see eight nations compete in a pool play format, before finals action on Day 2.

In the Women’s draw, Pool A consists of Fiji, France, New Zealand and the USA, while Australia, Canada, Great Britain and Japan make up Pool B, potentially paving the way for a rematch of last year’s trans-Tasman final.

Pool A of the Men’s competition will see SVNS heavyweights Argentina, Fiji, France and South Africa clash, the latter of which have a formidable record in SVNS traditional opening tournament.

Rivals New Zealand and Australia are joined by Great Britain and Spain in Pool B, with Spain looking to repeat their 2024 finals appearance here in Dubai, a result which kickstarted a historic season for Los Leones.

With each pool stacked with the best sides in the world, you won’t want to miss the jeopardy of pool play on Saturday, which will provide ample preparation for the knockout action on Sunday.
