Tickets go on sale for historic first British & Irish Lions Women tour

Tickets for the inaugural British & Irish Lions Women’s Tour of New Zealand have gone on sale.

In September 2027 the inaugural British & Irish Lions Women squad, comprised of the best players from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales will take on the Black Ferns in three Tests in New Zealand.

For a limited time, Test matches taking place in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch will have selected children’s tickets priced at NZD$1 and adult tickets cost NZD$27.

The first Test will take place at Auckland’s Mount Smart Stadium, then Wellington Memorial Stadium a week later and the series will conclude at Te Kaha in Christchurch. Tour fixtures against the Black Ferns XV and the Invitational XV will take place in Whangarei and Hamilton.

“To lead the first-ever British & Irish Lions Women’s Team is a privilege,” Jo Yapp, British & Irish Lions Women head coach, said.

“I know from experience how challenging it is to face the Black Ferns on home soil but that’s exactly what makes this tour so exciting. There is an enormous amount of talent across the four Unions, and I’m looking forward to bringing together the very best players from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales to represent the Lions in 2027.

“These Test tickets going on sale marks a big milestone as we want fans to be part of this story. The players will be making history every time they pull on the Lions jersey and we hope supporters in Britain and Ireland and across New Zealand get behind the teams to make this an unforgettable Tour.”
