Hill initially moved to the Recreation Ground on a short-term agreement, but he has now followed ex-Warriors colleague Ollie Lawrence in signing extended terms.

England international flanker Hill made his Bath debut against Northampton on Saturday.

He and Lawrence are among six former Worcester players now at Bath, being joined by Jamie Shillcock, Billy Searle, Valery Morozov and Fergus Lee-Warner.

Worcester are currently in administration, while they were partially liquidated with HM Revenue and Customs pursuing unpaid tax in the region of £6million.

The Warriors were also suspended from the Gallagher Premiership and face relegation at the end of this season.

Bath head of rugby Johann van Graan said: “Ted is an extremely diligent and talented young man.

“He is a fantastic athlete who offers great physicality in his ball-carrying, as well as in defence.

“His leadership in what has been a difficult period has been phenomenal, and it will add huge value to our squad on and off the field.”
