The deal for the 19-year-old U20 England tighthead Streeter has been announced a day after Quins confirmed the signing of another tighthead, Sampie Swiegers from the Pumas in South Africa.

The prop, who represented England U20 at this year’s Six Nations, has eight senior appearances for Harlequins, including four in the Gallagher PREM.

“After a challenging start to the season due to injury, Ollie has shown character and a great work ethic to fight his way back and establish himself as England’s starting tighthead throughout the Under-20 Six Nations,” said lead transition coach Matt Ferguson.

“During that time, he has consistently demonstrated his set-piece excellence and real physical presence, and we’re now looking forward to seeing those qualities continue to shine in a Quins shirt.

“Ludo, meanwhile, stood out from day one as an outstanding professional. His consistency and diligence have been evident all season, both in a Quins and London Scottish shirt, and that level of performance speaks volumes about his standards and commitment.”
