PREM Rugby blown away by record ticket sales
The Gallagher PREM final looks well on course for a third consecutive sellout despite the English club game’s showpiece occasion being eight months away.
PREM Rugby report that a quarter of the 82,000 tickets for the Allianz Stadium showdown next June have already been sold.
It is the first time in history that fans have snapped up 25% of tickets before the league season has ever begun. The same figure was reached in November last season as the 2025 final, between Bath and Leicester, sold out in record time.
Driving this surge is a new wave of younger fans, as ticket purchasers in the 18-34 age range have increased by 82%.
Simon Massie-Taylor, CEO of PREM Rugby, said: “These incredible figures show the extraordinary momentum behind PREM Rugby and the growing reputation of the Gallagher PREM Final as an unmissable event in the sporting calendar.
“To sell a quarter of tickets before the Gallagher PREM season has begun highlights the scale of demand and the growth of our audience – particularly among younger fans.”
Massie-Taylor added: “We’re building not only one of the most attractive leagues in world rugby, but also one of the most vibrant fan communities.
“The PREM is super-competitive and has had six different winners in the past six years. “Now we are all eager to see who will emerge as this season’s leading contenders when we kick off on Thursday night with Sale Sharks versus Gloucester Rugby.”
