Felipe Contepomi has shifted some significant firepower to the bench unit after his Pumas surrendered a 21-7 lead last weekend in Townsville.

For this weekend’s rematch against the Wallabies in Sydney, Pablo Matera has been named in the No. 20 jersey, joining a bench unit with a total of just 53 Test caps, excluding the vice-captain’s 115.

Joaquin Oviedo steps into Matera’s vacated No.8 jersey, continuing a rotating door selection policy among the superbly talented loose forward options. Similarly, in the locks, Guido Petti is promoted to the starting XV, switching places with Franco Molina.

In the backline, Bautista Delguy has dropped out of the matchday 23 and is replaced by Rodrigo Isgró.
