The hosts ran in six tries as they secured a third straight win and inflicted a first defeat of the campaign on three-time champions Munster.

Four of those tries came after the break in a dominant second-half display from the South African side as they stretched their advantage from 12-9 at the interval. Munster managed just one in reply as Dan Goggin crossed in the second half.

It was the final match in charge of the Cheetahs for Franco Smith, who is set to take over as head coach of the Italy national team.
