Former All Black flanker Steven Luatua is enjoying life at Bristol, the 26-year-old indicating he would like to stay on since joining the side earlier this year after his Blues Super Rugby commitments ended.
“I am just seeing out these two years, seeing what happens with Bristol Rugby,” he told BBC Radio Bristol.
“If they will still have me then hopefully I can stick around for a bit longer.
“I will see how my family enjoy it as well because that is a massive part of it, but if that all goes well then hopefully I will be around a bit longer. If not hopefully the Blues will take me back.”
Luatua joined Bristol before they were relegated to the championship in April. However, after winning all 12 of their matches they look set to earn promotion again – just in time for the arrival of another former All Black and Blues player – Charles Piutau.
Luatua has impressed in England since leaving New Zealand.
