Haha much like Rieko, now some want him back. Poor old defensive specialists get no love..

That’s interesting, I don’t follow any SAn sites or videos but I can kinda get it being true. I always thought he was a fairly nifty and accurate player to be fair, similar to a few of our centers who were peaking just before that (like Conrad and Crotty), and the are easy things to appreciate but also miss when your country has so many talented footballers too.

It does seem like you have to be outstanding club coach with an ambitious nature to buck the trend [ROG], but the default will be to drop back to the usual suspects…

The names of McCall/Baxter/Dowson/Sanderson etc often spewed up but I have no evidence any of them would want the job.

He is a sound guy and I am sure all the Irish players (esp Lions) know this so the comment will be just one for supporters and media to make mountains from molehills if they choose. Scotland appear calm and ready for a huge performance. The only side that comment could distract is potentially Ireland. Farrell is right in his tone.

“We know that we’ll have to be at our best to beat them as they’re a side that we’ve always respected.”

Nations Championship fixtures and venues confirmed for November

RG, the RWC is just a trophy and the winner is not necessarily the best team in the world. The only way to ascertain that is for each team to play every other one of the top 8 on a round robin basis and find your finalists from there. The RWC winner is just a team who came out top of a knockout competition.

Ireland really should win this one. Scotland will have to play another game out of their skin.

The French were so out on their feet from chasing Scots and chasing the ball as it zipped from side to side, they didn’t have the gas to compete on the floor. Scotland were so fast and so diligent. They were chasing shadows.

What stood out to Western Force coach Simon Cron about Zac Lomax

It’s a bit more complex than that he left St George to play center/fullback but after being told he would he wasn’t ( still had a great year)so he took what I would say is bad advice about R360 ( as it was never getting up this year right?) asked for a release 360 fell thru Storm then offered him 4 x as much as RA hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars more but Parra denied the release unless stipulations were met which involved Storm taking another player who said he didn’t want to go otherwise he would be at Storm, RA got him cheap
