Stink ..was looking good has played well against Boks in the past oh well onwards upwards hope Caleb gets well quick gets another shot at end of year ..reckon they not replacing him yet to see if Leicester can get a run at NPC? must be near that 10-12 weeks recovery time now ? He would kind of kill 2 birds with one stone playing midfield and wing ( 3 if you count loosies ) plus …he is good !!

I definitely do! I got the feeling Rassie was holding back quite a bit. We'll obviously know in a weeks time if that is all hot air or not😂

They'll still test your guys under the high ball often, but when the counterattack is on….they'll pull the trigger!

They like their power wingers (brawn but no brains) who can catch a ball and attempt to run over people but have no idea how to catch a high ball. He is not an indispensable loss. I fear clever wingers more than power winger. Reece was a clever winger, Carter is a clever winger.

I think their match against England was going to give the best insights into how they would play against us. But they saw Murley, Waboso and Smith named and decided they’d bomb them all day.

That’s a shame for him because he seemed to be in good form… but I didn’t see Caleb Clarke as a real game-changer for the All Blacks. Other options are available, and this will probably give Fehi Fineanganofo more opportunities. He’s someone I really want to see against the Boks!

@PB yesh pretty much what JW said. The that the «first team» could have thosectwo proper testicular July and then two more outings before the first test where the boks would have had fewer games and fewer hard test matches. The Argentina test was exactly what they needed.

I don’t know I just thought the tour matches could have helped build momentum. But I’m now thinking the 1.5 week rest for most of the 1st test players will probably be beneficial in the long run.

Dave Rennie not only mentions that Richie Mo’unga’s return to NZ was Razors idea but that he'd discussed the decision with Ruben, Beauden, DMac and Josh before calling him into the squad… team/man management attributes that motivates and earns you respect…

Go the AB’s…now thats settled…staunch motivation needed to dust up the Bulls…

Yeah Rennie said a few off things, the kind of comments that put Razor offside with the players, I wonder who he was talking to to use that langauge.

I prefer him to set an example of like “he needs to play well enough and earn the jersey”, not “where giving him a free ride because I think my job security depends on him”!

Nick, since some of the South Africans are complaining about being compared to a (very good) all blacks side. You could use the Fijians as an example of thriving in chaos?

The way they play one touch rugby where you are forced to keep the ball alive at all costs until you see an opportunity. I once visited a friend from school there and one evening the whole village was playing! It’s is very interesting and effects the way they play and embrace absolute chaos

It was a shame Richie wasn’t available for the GRT, it’s good to hear he was looking to resign longer in order to make him self available. It’s a very difficult scenario for him, he’s been out so long he won’t know where things are at is it’s sorts suicide to lock yourself into a long term contract.

If he had of originally signed till the Lions it certainly would have made things “easy”, but removing the current eligibility block certainly wouldn’t do that. It would only make future situations much harder.
