Leinster suffer double pre-season injury blow

Leinster have lost the services of two players before a ball has been kicked in the PRO14.

Leinster head coach Leo Cullen issued a squad injury update following his side’s pre-season schedule just 10 days out from the province’s Guinness PRO14 campaign kicks off away to Benetton Rugby.

Ciarán Frawley picked up an ankle ligament injury in the win against Northampton Saints and had a procedure this week. He will be out of action for six to eight weeks.

Barry Daly picked up a knee ligament and cartilage injury during training. He had a procedure this week and will be out of action for up to five months.
