Junior Bok handed Sharks debut days after U20 TRC triumph

South Africa U20 fly-half Vusi Moyo will make his debut for the Sharks on Saturday when they host Zebre in the final round of the United Rugby Championship season.

Though the Durban-based outfit have no chance of making the URC play-offs, nor can Zebre, the match will provide an opportunity to end a disappointing season on a high.

With head coach JP Pietersen having to contend with an eye-watering injury list, the team has a youthful feel to it, with Moyo’s U20 team-mate Zekhethelo Siyaya starting at full-back and 20-year-old Jaco Williams starting on the wing.

Moyo is fresh from South Africa’s U20 Rugby Championship, where he started on the bench in all three matches as South Africa won the Championship.

The match will also serve as a farewell to some departing Sharks stars, including South Africa captain Siya Kolisi, who will rejoin the Stormers at the end of the season.
