France have named an unchanged team to take on the world champion Springboks this Saturday in Marseille, naming the same XV that defeated the Wallabies last weekend but making two changes on a bench that maintains its six/two forwards and backs split.

There had been speculation that midfielder Jonathan Danty could lose out on this occasion, but he has kept his place in the centre alongside Gael Fickou for the second France match of the Autumn Nations Series.

Only the replacements have been tinkered with. Sub loosehead Reda Wardi has been named at the expense of Dany Priso while Bastien Chalureau is in for Kilian Geraci.

The consistency this week in the France starting XV – after they made eleven changes last week for the Wallabies following on from their Japanese tour – is in contrast to the Springboks. They named a team on Tuesday that contained five changes from the side defeated 19-16 by Ireland in Dublin.
