Eddie Hearn and Stellar Rugby boss Matt Hart have joined forces in a new partnership that marks a significant step into rugby union for Hearn’s Matchroom Talent Agency.

The collaboration will see both parties work together to manage the off-field commercial interests of England and British & Irish Lions tourist Henry Pollock, one of the game’s most exciting talents.

Hearn recently launched the Matchroom Talent Agency and revealed that Pollock was the only England player that he had heard of before watching Wales’ final game of the Six Nations Championship against Italy.

The Bulls are on the verge of securing a deal to bring Curwin Bosch back to South Africa after two years in the French Pro D2 with Brive, who look set to miss out on promotion to the Top 14 once again.

Bosch, 28, won the last of his three Springbok caps against Wales in June 2018, moved to Brive in 2024, following nine years with the Sharks, and has scored six tries in 36 appearances. The fly-half, who also operates at full-back, is wanted by the Bulls, who have been active in signing non-Springboks to replace Johan Goosen, who announced his retirement before Christmas.

Exeter Chiefs are being linked with a move for Kiwi full-back Cole Forbes, who was only denied a Scotland cap because of COVID during an impressive spell with United Rugby Championship outfit Glasgow Warriors. Forbes, who can switch between full-back and the wing, is a former Junior All Black who has played four test matches for the Maori All Blacks, including one against Gregor Townsend’s tourists and three against Japan.

The Te Puke native has played 36 times for the Blues, and another 32 for the Bay of Plenty, who qualifies for Scotland via a Scottish-born grandparent, and made a three-minute cameo off the bench when the Blues won the 2025 Super Rugby Final.

Sale Sharks have emerged as the suitors for Chiefs scrum-half Xavier Roe as Alex Sanderson looks to complete the mini rebuild of his squad for next season. Roe, 27, who toured the United Kingdom with All Blacks XV in the autumn, recently made his 50th appearance in the Super Rugby Pacific for the Chiefs, and was someone that Saracens had previously taken a look at.

The Sharks are losing Raffi Quirke to Newcastle Red Bulls next season and missed out on Alex Mitchell when he decided to stay at Northampton Saints. It appears they are finally closing in on their man.

Gloucester are still looking for a tighthead as George Skivington looks to complete his recruitment for next season after Scotland and Glasgow Warriors star Jamie Bhatti opted to join rivals Bath next season.

The Cherry and Whites have signed six players ahead of next season, including Wales stars Jac Morgan and Dewi Lake, and Jean Kleyn from Munster, as they look to move away from the foot of the Gallagher PREM table. “There’s one position we’re working away on still. I thought we were done, but that one is just dragging on a little bit, so that could still take a few twists and turns, but we’re only one position away from being done now,” Skivington told Fissler Confidential.

Harlequins could lose one of their fly-halves, with Cardiff interested in re-signing their former Wales international star Jarrod Evans when his contract runs out at the end of the season. Evans, 29, who started his career at Pontypridd, spent the first eight seasons of his professional career at the Arms Park, making 130 appearances before moving to London three years ago.

He has broken back into the Wales squad under Steve Tandy and has emerged as chief backup to Dan Edwards, and Quins, with Jamie Benson and Marcus Smith in their squad, are well stocked in the position.

Ulster, who are still looking to replace Angus Bell, could be sent back to the drawing board if they fail in their bid to lure former All Black star Ofa Tu’ungafasi to Northern Ireland later this year. Tu’ungafasi, 33, has been marketed for a move to the United Kingdom when his contract with the Blues runs out later this year, and Ulster had expressed an interest in Bell returning to Australia to join the Waratahs this summer. But it would appear that Tu’ungafasi is having second thoughts about leaving Auckland and could look to finish his career with the franchise rather than uproot to move 12,000 miles for a couple of seasons.

Tyler Mason, who made a try-scoring debut for Bath in the PREM Rugby Cup against Sale Sharks in February, has decided to return home to South Africa and join the Bulls. The highly rated inside centre then came off the bench in the defeat to Exeter Chiefs during an extended trial with the Gallagher PREM champions, but has decided to move to the Bulls. The 18-year-old, who came through the ranks at Pretoria Boys High School and has played in the Bulls academy, can also cover at outside centre and full-back.

Portugal scrum-half Hugo Camacho, who played a key role in their recent victory over Georgia, is set to become one of the many departures from Béziers at the end of the season.

Camacho, 21, who came through the ranks at Bayonne, where he made a single appearance in the Top 14 in a defeat against Lyon in May 2023, has started five of 20 appearances for Béziers. But Camacho, who has scored five tries in 18 appearances for Portugal, is going to drop down into the third-tier Nationale next season and will be plying his trade with Albi.

Forbes and Tu’ungafasi leaving would further weaken the Blues.

Sounds about right, Pollack signing with them. Another overhyped, overrated ‘Superstar’. The same Superstar who cost England the win against France. The same Superstar who minutes earlier had goaded the French supporters as he celebrated wildly and arrogantly held his finger to his lips in the ‘Shush’ gesture which has NO place at any Rugby match. No excuses about impetuous youth…he’s a grown man, playing at international level and he needs to remember this isn’t Soccer.

Gentlemen play rugby. Leave the OTT soccer style celebrations (premature) to the overpaid Kardashian’s who indulge in the badge kissing nonsense we see in weekly highlight reels.

No, let him keep up his theatrics, it makes it all that funnier when he falls flat on his face.
