Former Scotland international Jamie Bhatti will return for a second spell at Bath this summer after signing a new two-year deal, as RugbyPass first revealed earlier in the year.

The prop, who has won 36 caps for his country, spent time at Bath as injury cover in 2020, running out 11 times in Blue, Black and White.

Currently at Glasgow Warriors, Bhatti has made 132 appearances for the URC outfit, and was a member of the 2023/24 title-winning side.

“I’m incredibly honoured to be given the opportunity to join Bath Rugby. It’s a club with a proud history, great coaches, and an amazing fan base, so to become part of that is something I’m really excited about,” said Bhatti.

“Bath has built a strong and successful environment, and I’m looking forward to contributing to that and putting my best foot forward during my time at the club.

“I can’t wait to get started, meet the supporters, and do everything I can to help the team continue moving in the right direction.”

Signing for two seasons, the loosehead will link up with the reigning PREM champions at the end of the season.

“We are very excited for the arrival of Jamie Bhatti,” said Johann van Graan.

“He comes from a winning environment with Test experience and has become a very good ball carrier.

“His determination to become a better player is evident and we are looking forward to welcoming him into our Bath family.”
