Fijian Drua Women have made just one change for their Swyftx Super Rugby Women’s semi-final with the Queensland Reds.

This sole alteration sees the team’s head coach, Mike Legge, promote Litiana Vueti to a starting role at full-back. Michella’e Stolz drops out of the matchday 23 altogether.

It was at the end of June that the Drua beat the Reds 50-17 at Ballymore Stadium to claim top spot in the overall standings and secure just a second-ever home semi-final for the two-time champions.

Varanisese Qoro scored six of her seven conversions from fly-half in that fixture. Along with a try and a penalty goal. The 21-year-old will partner the team’s captain, Kolora Lomani, at half-back on Saturday at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.

“I put everything before God ahead of this home semi-final because I know we will have great support on Saturday,” Qoro said. “I want to make our supporters proud.

“There are still areas we need to improve so we can build stronger connections in both attack and defence.”

In the pack there is a starting place for teenage lock Carletta Yee, who let the team with 15 tackles last time out against the Reds in Queensland.

The Reds have selected a settled matchday squad too with no changes made from their last outing. Andrew Fraser’s side completed their regular season with a 26-19 win against the NSW Waratahs as a penalty try, along with efforts from Eva Karpani, Zoe Hanna and Lucy Thorpe stunned their hosts. The winner of Saturday’s clash will play either the Western Force or the Waratahs.
