Sam Whitelock and Ryan Crotty have been included in Scott Robertson’s Crusaders squad as they prepare to travel to South Africa and Argentina.

Both Whitelock and Crotty missed the side’s week five fixture against the Highlanders through concussion, and were both pulled late from the Crusaders’ win over the Bulls on Friday.

“He is clear, he is fine,” Robertson said of Crotty post-match.

“He just got hit in a bit an awkward position in the shoulder, and the doc straight away said ‘let’s go have a look at him’. But he is fine and passed the (HIA) test. Everything is good.”

The Crusaders will first travel to Johannesburg to face the Lions, then it’s off to Buenos Aires to meet the Jaguares before their bye week in round nine.
