Argentina have confirmed their 33-man squad for the final stretch of the Nations Championship, making three changes from the group that assembled in London.

Felipe Contepomi’s squad completed a three-day training camp in the English capital and will reconvene in Dublin ahead of next Friday’s meeting with Ireland at the Aviva Stadium.

Santiago Carreras, Thomas Gallo and Santiago Grondona are no longer included. Facundo Isa has been called up in place of the injured Grondona, while Rodrigo Martínez and Mateo Soler have been added.

The Pumas will follow their Dublin opener with a trip to Genoa to face Italy on November 14 before meeting France at the Stade de France a week later.

They will then return to London for the Nations Championship Finals Weekend at Twickenham from November 27 to 29, with their opponent still to be determined.

“It was a very good three days; it’s always positive to be able to reconnect with the group,” Contepomi said.

“It helped us to start preparing for the first match against Ireland and to review what we’ve been working on recently.

“This Nations Championship finale presents a huge challenge that we’re really looking forward to, because it’s an opportunity to play against top-level opponents like Ireland, Italy, and France.

“It’s a great opportunity to continue growing and to finish the year in the best possible way.”
