Leinster face off against Lions in United Rugby Championship Round 17 on Sat 9th May 2026 at Aviva Stadium. Kick-off in the UK is scheduled for 17:30. In South Africa it’s at 18:30 SAST, 04:30 NZST in New Zealand, 02:30 AEST in Australia and 09:30 EST in the US.
Lions won the last encounter but Leinster are in the best form of their last 5 games.
Heading into the fixture the two sides are separated by just 5 places in the league table with Lions in 2nd and Leinster in 7th underlining just how tight this match could be.
The official squads for Leinster vs Lions will become available around 24- 48 hours before kick-off. Teams can still make changes up to an hour before the match however.
