They had a chance when Willis was sent off but they culd not sustain that in the 2nd half and Antonio go sent off. After that they still were in with a chance 14 vs 14 but Marchaund succesfully baited one of their props and he did what French players do even in this age of 32 cameras - he headbutted M. And of course, there was no way La Rochelle could beat Toulouse when they eventually had a two man advantage. Amazingly, Toulouse showed their class and never rushed the moment as La R were forced to risk it all and they really tried. But T just kicked some penalties and then came a smart cross kick from Ntamack and that was that. La R - for all their heft in forwards and centres they are a bit light with Leyds and at the back with Dulin whose poor kicking from hand probably cost him his position in the French team. A charge down from one of these cost them big. Leyds has been good for La R but with counterparts running in the top teams wonder whether he’s sell by date is done …
