Lyon face off against Clermont in Top 14 Round 1 on Sat 5th September 2026 at Matmut Stadium. Kick-off in the UK is scheduled for 18:05. In South Africa it’s at 19:05 SAST, 05:05 NZST in New Zealand, 03:05 AEST in Australia and 10:05 EST in the US.
Lyon won the last encounter but both teams are in the same form for their last 5 games.
Heading into the fixture the two sides are separated by just 4 places in the league table with Clermont in 7th and Lyon in 11th underlining just how tight this match could be.
The official squads for Lyon vs Clermont will become available around 24- 48 hours before kick-off. Teams can still make changes up to an hour before the match however.
