Cheetahs face off against Lions in Currie Cup Round 5 on Sat 23rd August 2025 at Toyota Stadium. Kick-off in the UK is scheduled for 13:00. In South Africa it’s at 14:00 SAST, 00:00 NZST in New Zealand, 22:00 AEST in Australia and 05:00 EST in the US.
Cheetahs won the last encounter but Cheetahs are in the best form of their last 5 games.
Heading into the fixture the two sides are separated by just 2 places in the league table with Lions in 1st and Cheetahs in 3rd underlining just how tight this match could be.
The official squads for Cheetahs vs Lions will become available around 24- 48 hours before kick-off. Teams can still make changes up to an hour before the match however.
