Risi Pouri-Lane Black Ferns face off against Canada Women in Women's Rugby World Cup Round 5 on Fri 19th September 2025 at Ashton Gate. Kick-off in the UK is scheduled for 19:00. In South Africa it’s at 20:00 SAST, 06:00 NZST in New Zealand, 04:00 AEST in Australia and 11:00 EST in the US.
Black Ferns won the last encounter but Black Ferns are in the best form of their last 5 games.
Heading into the fixture the two sides are separated by just 1 places in the rankings with Black Ferns in position 2 and Canada Women in position 3, underlining just how tight this match could be.
The official squads for Black Ferns vs Canada Women will become available around 24- 48 hours before kick-off. Teams can still make changes up to an hour before the match however.
