The EPCR Challenge Cup is an annual tournament that features teams from the top three European rugby leagues. The competition is organised into pools, with each team facing the other clubs in their pool twice. Eight teams then progress to the knockout stages and the final is typically held in May.

The tournament follows the standard rugby points system, with teams given four points for a win and two points for a draw. The Challenge Cup also awards bonus points, with one bonus point for a team that scores four or more tries and one for a team that loses a game by seven or fewer points.

Would you like to predict which team will top this year’s Challenge Cup standings? Or share your thoughts with other rugby fans? Use our poll to see how your opinions compare and comment below to chat to our global community.
