The Premiership Rugby season is structured into 26 rounds with matches usually scheduled between September and June. Each club plays home and away matches against every opponent, with teams playing a total of 24 matches during the season. The top four teams then progress to the play-offs.

Each team in the Premiership receives four points for winning a match and two for a draw. There’s also two bonus points up for grabs: one bonus point to teams that lose by seven or less points and one for teams that score four tries or more in a single game.
