Willy John McBride Bio

Willie John McBride was huge for Ireland and the British and Irish Lions as a lock forward. He amassed 63 Tests for Ireland, eleven as captain, and toured with the British & Irish Lions five times winning a massive 17 Lions Test caps in total. He was captain of the most successful Lions side ever on the 1974 tour of South Africa. Willie John McBride was inducted into the RugbyPass Hall of Fame in 2021.
