Tom Wright Bio

Tom Wright was born on 21 July 1997 in Randwick, Australia. While growing up, he played both rugby league and rugby union, representing Clovelly Crocodiles and La Perouse Panthers (rugby league) and Clovelly Eagles and St Joseph's College, Hunters Hill (rugby union).

Tom Wright then made his NRL debut for the Manly Sea Eagles in round 10 of the 2018 season. However, after only five NRL appearances, he switched codes and signed for the Brumbies in Super Rugby

Ever since, Tom Wright has been dedicated to rugby union. He’s represented the Brumbies nearly 100 times and has become an established international player with the Wallabies.

He made his debut for the Australian national team in 2020, scoring in a 24-22 win over the All Blacks on his test debut. Since, he’s been capped close to 50 times.

Still young and with plenty left to offer in both Super Rugby and for the national team, we can’t wait to see what else Tom Wright can achieve in the game.
