World Rugby announces RWC 2027 presale dates as legends reunite in teaser
Fans won’t have to wait long to secure their seats at Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 in Australia, with World Rugby announcing the official ticket presale dates alongside a new global campaign teaser featuring two all-time greats of the game.
2003 Rugby World Cup hero Jonny Wilkinson and Wallabies great George Gregan have crossed paths in a new teaser released by the sport’s governing body, one week out from the Rugby World Cup Draw on December 3.
Wilkinson famously kicked the World Cup-winning drop goal in extra-time as England defeated the Wallabies 22 years ago at Sydney’s Stadium Australia, which was the last time the Rugby World Cup was held on Australian soil.
