'World class' Orr to miss remainder of Six Nations

Scotland‘s Emma Orr will miss the remainder of the 2026 Guinness Women’s Six Nations after she sustained a leg injury against Wales.
The 23-year-old left Scotland’s 24-19 win against Wales at the Principality Stadium in the 54th minute after a challenge from her Bristol Bears teammate, Keira Bevan.
Scottish Rugby have confirmed that that Orr has been replaced in the squad by uncapped Montpellier back Holly McIntyre.

Orr is the latest injury to Sione Fukofuka’s squad ahead of England’s visit to Scottish Gas Murrayfield this Saturday.
Evie Gallagher, Lisa Thomson, Sarah Bonar and Anne Young are also missing from the tournament, while Rachel McLachlan and Francesca McGhie missed the Wales clash also.
Dave Butcher, Scotland assistant coach, said: “Obviously Emma’s not going to be playing this weekend so there’s massive shoes to fill. She’s a world class player.”
Sale Sharks’ Evie Willis replaced Orr last week in Cardiff and is favourite to partner Meryl Smith this weekend in Edinburgh.
Scotland will host a Red Roses team also struggling with injuries. Morwenna Talling’s injury against Ireland means that John Mitchell’s team have one senior lock in their squad, while two-time Women’s Rugby World Cup winner Natasha Hunt also sustained a long-term injury.
