Watch as 65-time All Black Alan Whetton details how he became an All Black and the national side’s first World Cup run in 1987.

The 58-year-old former flanker also discusses the impact of fellow All Black and Auckland flanker Michael Jones, and sheds light on his time as part of the controversial New Zealand Cavaliers side that toured South Africa in 1986, which saw him receive a two-match ban for his participation.
