Rugby Europe lock in 2026 sevens calendar

Rugby Europe has confirmed its locations and dates for the 2026 sevens season.

Fixtures will commence next June when the first leg of the Men’s and Women’s Championship Series takes place in Hamburg, Germany.

The second leg of the Championship Series will take place in Split, Croatia, in late July where the European Champions will be crowned.

Hosts for the 2026 remain the same as 2025 as Croatia, Moldova, Andorra and Kosovo host the Trophy and Conference legs.

There have been adjustments to the schedule to fall in line with the newly revamped HSBC SVNS season which now takes place on the last weekend of May and the first weekend of June.

Currently there is no confirmed venue for the U18s 7s Boys and Girls Championship. The U18s Trophy will be held in Budapest, Hungary.

First leg – Trophy Series, Makarska, Croatia, 5-7 June (Men and Women)
First leg – Conference 1, Andorra, 12-14 June, (Men & Women)
Second leg – Conference 2, Pristina, Kosovo, 13-14 June (Men only)
First leg, Championship Series, Hamburg, Germany, 3-5 July (Men & Women)
Second leg Trophy, Chisinau, Moldova, 26-28 June (Men & Women)
U18s Trophy, Budapest, Hungary, 17-19 July (Boys and Girls)
Second Leg – Championship Series, Split, Croatia, 24-26 (Men & Women)
European University Games, Salerno, Italy 28-30 July
Youth Olympic Games, Dakar, Senegal, 1-3 November 2026
