After eight seasons with the Queensland Reds, Ivania Wong will wear a different club’s colours during the 2026 Super Rugby Women’s campaign. The winger has been named in a stacked 29-player ACT Brumbies squad, which includes Wallaroos captain Siokapesi Palu Sekona.

Wong, who was named the 2022 Super Rugby Women’s Player of the Year and is the Reds all-time leading try-scorer, is a high-profile addition to the Brumbies roster. 12 players have joined the Brumbies, as confirmed by the club this week.

Spanish international scrum-half Anne Fernandez de Corres and emerging hooker Parker are some of the other key additions to the Brumbies roster. Jane Morrison and Savannah Roberts-Hickling are players to watch in the backline.

Palu Sekona and Tabua Tuinakauvadra are among the 11 Brumbies part of the Wallaroos extended squad. Ash Fernandez, Chioma Enyi, Lily Bone, Martha Fua, Millie Parker, Tania Naden, Ella Ryan, Faitala Moleka and Manu’a Moleka are the others.

Tuinakauvadra was named the Wallaroos Player of the Year last October at the Rugby Australia Awards in Sydney, following a standout season in gold, which included a particularly impressive effort off the bench against England at Brighton & Hove Stadium.

“We feel squad reflects the sustained strength of our pathways, with emerging local talent stepping into this environment with confidence, supported by world class internationals who understand what’s required at this level day in and day out,” coach James Erwin said.

“That blend is important for both our pursuit of performance this season alongside the long-term growth of the program, as we kickoff the start of a home World Cup cycle.”

“We’re really pleased with the overall balance of the squad. There’s a strong core of experienced players, who got a lot right in 2025, and who continue to perform for their National sides, with some exciting youth and genuine X factor across the group. The squad has connected well thus far, and with the re-integration of our Wallaroos over the coming weeks, we are looking forward to building cohesion across our pre season fixtures into a big 2026 campaign.”
