Over the past two months we have been treated to some of the most compelling displays of women’s Test match rugby. WXV Global Series gave supporters across the world a little bit of everything.

The talking points and the narrative are there for all to see. From the Red Roses’ first loss in four years, the Black Ferns’ five wins out of six or the USA Women’s Eagles breaking decades-long records, it was nothing short of brilliant.

Hot on the heels of last year’s Women’s Rugby World Cup, which saw England crowned champions in front of a world record crowd at Allianz Stadium, teams got the opportunity to play matches home and away, grow and set the wheels in motion for this latest Women’s Rugby World Cup cycle.

Now as we enter six months without international rugby, as domestic leagues across the globe click into gear, there is room for one final celebration of women’s rugby.

Yes, as you have already gathered from the headline, the RugbyPass Top 50 Women’s Rugby Players is back.

We are certain that this will cause plenty of debate in the comments section, on social media, in clubhouses, coffee shops and pubs across the world.

The past year for international women’s rugby has been absolutely brilliant. This list – with how difficult it was to put together and how challenging it was to nail down the final standings – is proof of that. It will be an absolute blast.

We look forward to seeing your reactions.
