New Zealand Rugby has unveiled the first round of award finalists ahead of its night of nights on December 11.
Southland Stags face off against Canterbury in Bunnings NPC Round 6 on Fri 5th September 2025 at Invercargill Rugby Park. Kick-off in the UK is scheduled for 05:05. In South Africa it’s at 06:05 SAST, 16:05 NZST on Sky Sport, Sky Sport Now, Sky Go in New Zealand, 14:05 AEST on Stan Sport in Australia and 21:05 EST on Flo Rugby in the US.
Canterbury won the last encounter but Canterbury are in the best form of their last 5 games.
Heading into the fixture the two sides are separated by 12 places in the league table with Canterbury in 1st and Southland Stags in 13th as such Canterbury are favourites on paper.
