Romane Menager Bio

Romane Ménager is a talented number eight who represents Montpellier and the French women’s national team. She’s widely regarded as one of the best female rugby players on the planet.

Born 26 July 1996, Romane Ménager started playing rugby for LMRC Villeneuve alongside her twin sister, Marine at the age of seven.

At the age of 18, she made her league debut for Lille MRCV. The twins ultimately won the Élite 1 championship together in 2016, before they both moved to Montpellier in 2018.

Romane’s talents were spotted immediately by international scouts and she made her debut for the French national team in 2015. Since, she’s represented her country in two Rugby World Cups. In 2024, she also won the Six Nations Player of the Championship award.

Still young and with plenty left to achieve in the game, we can’t wait to see where Romane Ménager’s career goes next.
