Robyn Wilkins Bio

Born 1 April 1995, Robyn Wilkins is the daughter of the former Welsh fly-half Gwilym Wilkins.

Wilkins began playing rugby at primary school and represented Pyle RFC. She took time away from the sport between the ages of 11 and 15, but returned to play in the Pencoed U18s side while at school, before moving to the Ospreys Under 18s squad.

In her senior career, Wilkins has represented some of the UK’s top teams. In Wales, she has played for Ospreys, Cardiff Blues Women and Llandaff North RFC.

In 2020, she moved to England when she signed for Worcester Warriors. She left the club in 2021, when she signed for Gloucester-Hartpury. She then spent a couple of years with Exeter Chiefs, before signing with Sale Sharks in 2024. She’s stayed with the club ever since.

Wilkins made her international debut for Wales in 2014. She’s since become an integral member of the squad and has been capped more than 70 times by her country. Notably, she’s represented Wales at three Rugby World Cups. However, she was not selected in her country’s squad for the 2025 competition.

With several years of elite rugby still ahead of her, we can’t wait to see what else Robyn Wilkins can achieve before she hangs up her boots.
