Kiara Zago Bio

Kiara Zago is a rising star in rugby union who plays in the second row for Stade Toulousain and the France women’s national rugby team.

Zago was born on 11 October 2005. She began playing rugby in 2016 after a decade of dance training. Zago eventually settled on rugby as her sport of choice after inspiration from her father, who was also a rugby player.

Prior to joining Stade Toulousain, Zago was a captain at SU Agen and won the French U18 championship in 2023.

2023 was a breakout year for Zago, who made her first international appearance with the French team at the WXV in New Zealand, and was crowned the U18 European Champion with the French rugby sevens team. She also moved to Toulouse and won the Coupe de France with the squad in 2024.

Zago’s career has only just started but she’s already shown great promise in the sport. With so much of her career ahead of her, we anticipate seeing great things from the young French player.
