The first round of the 2023/24 Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby got underway in fine fashion last weekend. At the end of the round Bristol Bears Women topped the standings after their bonus-point win, followed by Saracens Women in second and Exeter Chiefs Women in third after both also secured five points.
London Irish announced their intent to join the Premier 15s a little over a year ago, with Graham Smith part of the exciting coaching staff announced to deliver elite women’s rugby to the club.
