Bastien Chalureau Bio

Bastien Chalureau is an impressive lock who played for Perpignan, USON Nevers, and Toulouse. He joined Montpellier in 2020 and earned his place in the France squad in 2022.

Chalureau was born in Mondavezan, Haute-Garonne on 13 February 1992. He began playing rugby in Cazères at a young age and in 2009 he joined the Toulouse youth system. After successful stints with Perpignan and Nevers, Chalureau rejoined Toulouse in 2019.

He left once more a year later and joined Montpellier. Here he went on to win the 2020-21 Challenge Cup and the 2022 Top 14

His talents were recognised by Fabien Galthié who called him up to the France national team for the Autumn Internationals in 2022.

Bastien Chalureau has faced his fair share of ups and downs but his talents are undeniable and we can’t wait to see what else he can achieve in the game.
