Aidan Ross suffers horrific season ending ankle injury

By Sam Smith

22 year old Aidan Ross has been ruled out for the season after suffering a serious ankle injury against the Hurricanes in Wellington last Friday night when his ankle was crushed under the weight of teammate Angus Ta’avao. He becomes the sixth Chiefs man to be ruled out for the season, and the sixth prop forward they have lost since the start of the 2018 campaign. Like Ross, fellow prop Moli was also ruled out for the season while Nepo Laulala, Kane Hames, Mitchell Graham, and Sefo Kautai are still working their way back to full fitness. Sam Pratley has been called into the squad as cover.
